An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrician to work on behalf of our client Gov Facility Services Ltd. This can be a challenging environment however due to the high demand of work this could be a long term opportunity for the correct candidate.
This will be a static role based onsite at HMP Wormwood Scrubbs.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to all building services, this will include electrical, basic mechanical and building fabric works as and when required.
For this role it is essential you meet the following criteria:- Qualified Electrician: NVQ Level 2 or 3 / City & Guilds equivalent- 17th Edition Wiring Regulations- Ideally Time Served in a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship- Experience of Commercial Electrical Facilities maintenance.- Good problem solving skills- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to be security conscious
Suitable candidate will be in or will have the relevant experience of electrical maintenance in a commercial environment, along with 17th Edition which is essential for the role.
To be able to work with our client, you must be able to pass the standard security vetting process for the establishment. This will include a criminal records check (Standard DBS). An offer to start in the position will be dependent on all security checks being passed.
